• Scan data: Text you submit for AI detection analysis, along with the detection results
• Usage data: Number of scans performed, subscription status, and last sign-in date
• Session data: A session identifier stored in your browser to track free trial usage

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide AI text detection analysis on text you submit
• Maintain your account and subscription status
• Enforce usage limits and prevent abuse
• Improve the accuracy and performance of our detection algorithms

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure, managed cloud infrastructure. We use HTTPS encryption for all data in transit. Session cookies are set with httpOnly and secure flags to prevent unauthorized access. Database access is restricted to authenticated application servers only.

4. Data Retention

Scan history is retained for up to 90 days from the date of submission. After 90 days, scan data (including submitted text and results) is automatically purged. Account information is retained as long as your account is active. You may request immediate deletion of all your data at any time through your account settings.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Manus OAuth: For user authentication (we do not store passwords)
• AI language models: To analyze submitted text for AI detection patterns. Text is sent to the model API for processing and is not retained by the model provider beyond the request lifecycle.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access: View all data we hold about you through your scan history
• Delete: Request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time
• Portability: Request a copy of your data in a standard format
• Correction: Update your account information through your profile settings

7. Children's Privacy

ClearTextAI is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
